Les courses du Trail des crêtes du Chablais 2019 nommés EXPERTS, CONFIRME, ENGAGÉ et DECOUVERTE ainsi que le RELAIS CONFIRMÉ et le RELAIS EXPERT sont organisées par l’association Loi 1901 intitulé CHABLAIS SPORT NATURE.


The races of Trail des crêtes du Chablais 2019 named EXPERTS, CONFIRME, ENGAGÉ et DÉCOUVERTE (discover) as well as the RELAIS CONFIRMÉ and RELAIS EXPERT are organized by the association Law 1901 entitled CHABLAIS SPORT NATURE.


 The races are open to all licensed or unlicensed persons, of any nationality, whose age corresponds to the categories of the FFA.


All registrations must be accompanied by a photocopy of an athlete license delivered by the FFA, valid on the date of the event.


The participant must provide a medical certificate dating from less than one year to the date of the competition specifying very precisely “no contraindication to the practice of running in competition“.

No other document will be accepted.

Foreign participants are required to provide a medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of running in competition even if they hold a competition license issued by an IAAF affiliated federation.

The photocopy of the license or medical certificate of each participant must be provided to the organization before May 31, 2019, 23:59.


Registrations will be made exclusively on the internet via the website by secure payment via credit card.

EXPERT and EXPERT DUO (300 bibs): 70 € until 24 January included, + 5 € beyond. 140 € per team

CONFIRMED and CONFIRMED DUO (400 bibs): 50 € until 24 January included, + 5 € beyond. 100 € per team

ENGAGED (300 bibs): 35 € until 24 January included, + 5 € beyond

DISCOVER (1000 bibs): 25 € until 24 January included, + 5 € beyond

Cancellation insurance

No refund can be considered in the absence of this cancellation insurance registration.

The cancellation insurance is valid only on presentation of an appropriate medical certificate or a proof specifying a professional reason.

Only the cost of registration will be refunded.

The cancellation insurance will not be refunded.

All requests must be sent by mail or mail to the organization before April 30, 2019.

The equipment is the one published by the FFA regulation. Each participant agrees to possess the required safety equipment at all times and in all places of the course and to present it at the request of the organization. A control will take place at the recovery of the bib as well as randomly on the whole course.

Race-bib distribution

Each race-bib will be delivered by hand to the participant on presentation of an ID.

Friday 14 June 2019 :

17h to 22h for all races. The priority will however be given for the EXPERT course in case of affluence – Vacheresse Town Hall. Room TETRA LYRE.

Saturday 15 June 2019 :

02h30 to 03h30 for EXPERT race  – Vacheresse Town Hall. Room TETRA LYRE

07h00 to 08h30 for CONFIRMED and ENGAGED races  – Vacheresse Town Hall. Room TETRA LYRE.

12h to 14h for DISCOVER race at BERNEX only. Shuttles will be made available only by reservation from the town of VACHERESSE for runners with their pass. – Vacheresse Town Hall. Room TETRA LYRE

Time barriers

Time barriers are given for information only, they can be modified if necessary.

The maximum time of the EXPERT course is fixed at 20 hours.

The maximum time of the CONFIRMED course is fixed at 13 hours.

The maximum time of the ENGAGED course is fixed at 10 hours.

No time barriers on DISCOVER race.

The arrival of a participant on a time limit barrier implies his disqualification. His markup chip will be removed. However, if the participant wishes to continue the course, his bib will also be recovered and the participant will no longer be considered as a participant, and will no longer be under the responsibility of the organizer.

Course modification and cancellation

For obvious reasons of safety, the organization reserves the right to modify the course, the starting times, the time barriers or to cancel the event completely in case of bad weather conditions. In case of cancellation of the race for security reasons, no refund will be required from the participant.

Cancellation of registration

No refund will be required if the participant has not taken out the cancellation insurance.

The latter taken at the time of registration is valid only on presentation of a medical certificate stating the reason for the cancellation (injury / disabling illness) or a professional proof.

The cost of registration only will be refunded. The costs of the cancellation insurance as well as the bank processing fees will not be refunded.

This request must be made before June 1, 2019 latest deadline.

Race change

The change of race is possible until May 15, 2019. After this date, no request will be taken into account.


 Rescue stations are located at several points along the route. These stations are in radio connection with the medical PC and the racing PC.

Each participant must provide assistance to anyone in danger and the obligation to notify the nearest rescue or volunteers.

Rescuers and doctors are entitled to disqualify any competitor unfit to continue.

If it is not possible to join the race or medical PC, you can directly call the public rescue organizations via the unique number 112.

Check race-bibs

Your bib must be visible all along the course. Checks and reminders will be held throughout the event. Anyone refusing to show his bib will be disqualified and stop. The participant who abandons will have to give back his bib to a volunteer who will immediately warn the PC race. His return will be organized only from a refreshments post to the town of VACHERESSE.


 A civil liability contract has been signed by the organization for the duration of the event.

Personal insurance

Each participant must be in possession of an individual accident insurance covering evacuation costs. Such insurance can be taken out with an organization of your choice, especially with the FFA. Helicopter evacuations in France are paying. The choice of evacuation depends on the organization for the safety of the riders.


 In case of abandonment, the participant must present himself to the nearest supply to organize his repatriation towards the town of VACHERESSE. His bib will then be taken again to put him out of the race.


On each race, the top three men and women will be rewarded. As well as the first three of each category.

Right to the image

Each participant authorizes the organizers to use the images on which he could appear during this event of the TRAIL DES CRETES DU CHABLAIS.

Qualifying race / ITRA points :

The races of the TRAIL DES CRETES DU CHABLAIS are part of the qualifying races named “Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®” and entitle to new points ITRA. In case of cancellation, stopping the race or abandonment, these points will not be awarded.

By registering, each rider personally takes the following commitments:

1 – I declare to have read the rules

2 – I undertake to respect the rules on all the points listed

3 – I declare to be in possession of an individual insurance accident covering the expenses of rescue and evacuation

4 – I declare to have in my possession of the obligatory material required and this, during all the duration of my test
