The races of the Trail des crêtes du Chablais 2020 named: EXPERT, CONFIRMED, ENGAGED and DISCOVERY are organized by the 1901 Law association entitled CHABLAIS SPORT NATURE.


The races are open to all licensed and unlicensed people of all nationalities, whose age corresponds to the FFA categories.


Any registration must be accompanied by a photocopy of a competition athlete, business athlete, running athlete license issued by the FFA, valid on the date of the event.
The runner must provide a medical certificate dated less than one year from the date of the competition, specifying very precisely “no contraindication to the practice of running in competition”.
No other document will be accepted.
Foreign participants are required to provide a medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of running in competition even if they hold a competition license issued by a federation affiliated to the IAAF.
The photocopy of each runner’s license or medical certificate must be provided to the organization before 11.59 p.m. on May 31, 2020.

Entry fees

Registrations will be made exclusively on the internet via the site by secure payment via bank card.

EXPERT92 (200 bibs): € 100 until 10.02.20 inclusive, + € 5 / per 30 days beyond

CONFIRMED53 (200 bibs): € 60 until 10.02.20 inclusive, + € 5 / per 30 days beyond

ENTRY35 (200 bibs): 40 € until 10.02.20 inclusive, + 5 € / per 30 days beyond

DISCOVERY18 (1000 bibs): 25 € until 24.05.20 inclusive.

NORQIQUE MARKET 18 (100 bibs): € 15 until 24.05.20 inclusive.

Cancellation insurance

No refund may be required in the absence of this registration cancellation insurance.

Cancellation insurance is only valid on presentation of an appropriate medical certificate or proof stating a professional reason.

Only the cost of registration will be reimbursed.

Cancellation insurance will not be reimbursed.

13 Route des Glaciers



The equipment is that published by the FFA regulations. Each runner agrees to have the required safety equipment at all times and at all places on the course and to present it on request from the organization. A check will take place at the recovery of the bib as well as randomly over the entire course.

Race-bib distribution

Each bib will be hand delivered to the runner upon presentation of an identity document.

Friday June 12, 2020:

5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for all races. Priority will however be given for the EXPERT route in the event of crowds – Vacheresse town hall. TETRA LYRE room.

Saturday June 13, 2019:

02:30 to 03:30 for the CONFIRMED route – Vacheresse town hall. TETRA LYRE Room

6:30 am to 7:30 am for the ENGAGED route – Vacheresse Town Hall. TETRA LYRE Room

7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the DISCOVERY to VACHERESSE course only. Shuttles will be made available only by reservation from the municipality of VACHERESSE for runners with their pass. – Vacheresse town hall. TETRA LYRE Room

Time barriers

The time barriers are given as an indication, they can be modified if necessary.

The maximum time for the EXPERT course is set at 24 hours.

The maximum time for the CONFIRMED route is set at 15 hours.

The maximum time for the ENGAGE course is set at 10 hours.

No maximum time or time barrier for the DISCOVERY course.

The arrival of a runner on a time barrier beyond the deadline implies his disqualification. Its markup chip will be removed. However, in the event that the runner wishes to continue the course, his bib will also be collected and the runner will no longer be considered as a participant, and will therefore no longer be under the responsibility of the organizer.

Course modification and cancellation

For obvious security reasons, the organization reserves the right to modify the route, the departure times, the time barriers or even cancel the event completely in the event of bad weather conditions. In the event of modification or cancellation of the race for security reasons, no reimbursement will be due from the rider.

Cancellation of registration

No refund may be required if the rider has not taken out cancellation insurance.

This last taken at the time of registration is only valid on presentation of a medical certificate specifying the reason for the cancellation (injury / disabling illness) or professional proof.

The cost of registration alone will be reimbursed. Cancellation insurance fees and bank processing fees will not be reimbursed.

This request must be made before April 30, 2020, at the latest.

Race change

Any registration whatever the format is final. No change request will be taken into account.


First aid stations are located at several points along the route. These stations are in radio link with the medical PC and the race PC.

Each runner must assist any person in danger and has the obligation to notify the nearest rescue or volunteers.

Rescuers and doctors are empowered to disqualify any competitor unable to continue.

If it is impossible to reach the race PC or the medical PC, you can directly call the public emergency services via the single number 112.

Check race-bibs

Your bib must be visible all along the route. Checks and reminders will take place throughout the event. Anyone refusing to show their bib will be disqualified and arrested. The runner who abandons must return his bib to a volunteer who will immediately inform the race control center. His return will be organized only from a supply point to the capital of the town of VACHERESSE.


A civil liability contract has been signed by the organization for the duration of the event.

Personal insurance

Each runner must be in possession of individual accident insurance covering evacuation costs. Such insurance can be taken out with an organization of your choice, in particular with the FFA. Helicopter evacuations in France are chargeable. The choice of evacuation depends on the organization for the safety of the runners.


In case of abandonment, the runner must go to the nearest supply station in order to organize his repatriation to the town of VACHERESSE. His bib with chip will then be taken back to put him out of the race. No repatriation will take place for voluntary abandonment outside these refueling points.


On each race, a prize giving will take place at the diligence of the organizer.

Right to the image

Each runner authorizes the organizers to use the images on which he may appear during this TRAIL DES CRETES DU CHABLAIS event.

Qualifying race / ITRA points :

The TRAIL DES CRETES DU CHABLAIS races are part of the qualifying races called “Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®” and give the right to new ITRA points. In the event of cancellation, stopping of the race or abandonment, these points will not be awarded.

By registering, each rider personally takes the following commitments:

3 – I declare to be in possession of an individual insurance accident covering the expenses of rescue and evacuation

4 – I declare to have in my possession of the obligatory material required and this, during all the duration of my test
